Concertiste et Professeur d’accordéon à ARTS² (Conservatoire Royal de Mons), directeur de l’ « ATM » (Atelier Musical Manage-Seneffe), co-fondateur de la Compagnie Enchantée (théâtre et musique), du festival « Accordéons-nous.org », du quintette « Hybris », et le duo Douyez (violon-accordéon avec son fils Loris), musicien soliste.

Il a obtenu au Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Mons les premiers prix de solfège, de musique de chambre, d’accordéon classique et piano, le diplôme supérieur avec la plus grande distinction dans la classe d’accordéon. Il a participé à de nombreux concours et fut lauréat du Trophée Mondial au Venezuela, premier prix au concours international de Genève et de Vichy, premier lauréat au concours Astoria à Bruxelles et au concours RTBF 83, finaliste au concours Tenuto et lauréat au concours Dexia et au concours Charlier de Charleroi. À son actif, plusieurs concerts en Belgique et à l’étranger ( Canada, Russie, France, Italie, Pologne, Portugal , etc ), télévision et radio (400 prestations).

Il a sorti un premier CD intitulé « Fisarmonica 1 » et avec le quintette Hybris, leur premier CD, « Démesure », en Mars 2011. Le deuxième CD est sorti le 10 avril lors du festival « Accordéons-nous.org »,Premier CD du duo « Douyez » juillet 2015.

Il effectue de nombreuses « Master class » en Europe: Aoste (Italy), Poznan (Pologne), France…
Jury au festival « PifCastelfidardo » depuis 2013. Accordeopale  Festival Sancyberie ( France), Alcobaça ( Portugal), Trophée Mondial ( CMA) Il collabore avec Roman Jbanov, Massimiliano Pittocco, Gorka Hermosa.
