Concertiste et professeur d’accordéon à ARTS²-Conservatoire royal de Mons, directeur de l’ATM (Atelier Musical Manage-Seneffe), co-fondateur de la Compagnie Enchantée (théâtre et musique), du festival Accordéons-nous.org, fondateur du quatuor Accroch, du quintette Hybris et du Duo Douyez (violon-accordéon avec son fils Loris), musicien soliste.
Il a obtenu au Conservatoire royal de Mons les Premiers Prix de solfège, de musique de chambre, d’accordéon classique et de piano, ainsi que le Diplôme Supérieur avec la plus grande distinction en accordéon. Il a participé à de nombreux concours et fut lauréat du Trophée Mondial au Venezuela, premier prix au concours international de Genève et de Vichy, premier lauréat au concours Astoria à Bruxelles et au concours RTBF 83, finaliste au concours Tenuto, lauréat au concours Dexia et au concours Charlier de Charleroi. Olivier Douyez possède à son actif plusieurs concerts en Belgique et à l’étranger (400 prestations).
Olivier Douyez a enregistré plusieurs CD en solo ou avec le quintette Hybris ou le duo Douyez : Fisarmonica 1, Démesure, Take Off, Tribute to rock, Portrait, etc. Il a effectué de nombreuses master-classes en Europe : Aoste (Italie), Poznan (Pologne), France ; il est jury au festival PIF Castelfidardo depuis 2013.

Olivier Douyez has recorded several CDs on his own or with the Hybris quintet or the Douyez duet : Fisarmonica 1, Démesure, Take Off, Tribute to rock, Portrait, etc. He holds a number of masterclasses in Europe: Aosta (Italy), Poznan (Poland), France ; he is jury at the festival PIF Castelfidardo since 2013.
